2023-Inter Clinic Tournament
Our first interschool tournament this year was hosted at Tatu City Primary school. This year’s tournament is the 4th since it was initiated in 2018. The tournament was launched by Stave Twe (former all blacks chairman) and Chris baron (former Rendeavour vice president) in 2018.
This year’s tournament brought together about 400 children living in Tatu and Ngewe areas from the 4 schools we partner with; Ngewe Primary, Kongo Primary, Tatu City Primary and Oakland Primary School.
Tatu City Primary school were crowned the overall champions of this year’s interschool tournament, making this their third win since the tournament was initiated. They won the tournament in2018, 2019 and 2023 while Ngewe won in 2022. The tournament did not happen in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID_19 restrictions.
We would like to acknowledge and thank our donor and longtime partner Tatu City for believing and supporting our mission and vision through our programs which are geared towards #ChangingLivesWithScrumsandTries since 2016.
This tournament is among the many programs that Tatu City support has enabled Shamas to carryout in Ruiru and Kiambu areas, some of the programs include our weekend training sessions, school visits, counseling, providing snacks and hot meals provided after every training session.
Through their support Shamas has been able to impact positively live of more than 2000 children through our life skills, rugby and education programs.
Asante Sana Tatu City for your continuous support.
